R4i Adapter for the Nintendo DSi
The R4 adapter is a electronic wonder matching the size of an original nintendo ds game cartridge, but it also accepts flash card memory, allowing you to determine what is loaded to it .. depending upon the size of the card, this could be dozens of backed up games eliminating the need to swap game cartridges forever.
Unfortunately, whilst the DSi is backwardly compatible with the games, the same is not true of the original and much-loved R4 Adapter which was designed for the DS.
There is a new version available now: the R4i Adapter for Nintendo DSi. This cartridge will work in exactly the same way as the original R4 adapter for the Nintendo DS, but has been made to work with the new Nintendo DSi. Just as its predecessors the R4i functions using a micro SDHC card that has a external storage capacity limit of a massive 32GB, therefore allowing a far greater amount of benefits when used with the new Nintendo DSi console.
